A memorial exhibition. Edgar Holloway started etching and painting in watercolours when he was 15 years old. He had his first one-man exhibition in 1931. During the 1930s Holloway had considerable success as an etcher and many works were acquired by public collections. In 1943 he married Daisy Monica Hawkins and settled briefly in the Llanthony Valley. By 1950 he and his wife had settled in Ditchling where he remained the rest of his life. He died on 9 November 2008, aged 94. The exhibition, planned before his death, is primarily of border subjects and includes both watercolours and etchings made over the last 30 years of his life.
